5 displaced after fire breaks out at Durham condo complex

Five people have been displaced after a fire broke out at a building containing several condominiums Wednesday night, the Durham Fire Department said.

 

The fire happened at a complex in the 500 block of Finsbury Street. According to Durham Fire Department Division Chief Bryan Baker, firefighters received the call around 7:36 p.m.

As a result of the blaze, five people in three condo units were displaced, the department said, but no injuries were reported by either residents or first responders.

 

According to Division Chief Baker, a fire investigator arrived on scene late Wednesday night. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
