£84m star is now ‘absolutely determined’ to leave his club after holding transfer talks with Tottenham
Given that one of their top transfer targets is keen to leave his club this summer, Tottenham Hotspur may be in for a
significant boost.
With only eight days until their first preseason game, the North London club will be hoping that their transfer
business can begin to pick up speed in the days ahead.
With only Kota Takai and Mathys Tel as recent recruits, Thomas Frank has already welcomed his team back to
Hotspur Way.
However, after transfer negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur, a key target made it apparent that he was prepared to
depart, thus that might soon change.
Mohammed Kudus is desperate to leave West Ham
The Athletic claims that Mohammed Kudus is now “absolutely determined” to depart West Ham United this
summer.
Tottenham and the Hammers are still negotiating a contract for the forward, and Kudus is eager to join them.
According to an exclusive report by TBR Football, Kudus turned down a bid from Bayern Munich because he wants
to stay in the Premier League and is more interested in joining Spurs.
The East London team was dissatisfied with the add-ons being offered to them, and Tottenham’s third attempt to get
Kudus was turned down.
Spurs wanted to pay £50m plus £12.5m in add-ons, which were based around them winning the Premier League and
Champions League.
The Ghanaian has just returned for pre-season training at Rush Green as he waits for the two clubs to try and reach
an agreement.
At this stage, Chelsea are unlikely to move for Kudus, despite having shown an interest in bringing him to Stamford
Bridge earlier this summer.
Mohammed Kudus has already proved he’s perfect for Tottenham
Kudus made it plain when he joined the Hammers that his goal was to “entertain” the supporters.
Spurs fans will enjoy it because they have a deep-seated genetic want to watch athletes who are entertaining.
In response to an Iron Cast question on his playing style, Kudus stated: “I like to entertain the fans because I think
that’s what football is about, and my dribbling ability, strength, and finishing also” I’m only here to support the team
as best I can. There will be entertainment for the fans to enjoy!
Kudus is a player that enjoys running at defenders with the ball and plays with minimal fear. Since the 2023–24
season began, Kudus has completed more dribbles than any other Premier League player, according to WhoScored.
Spurs’ need for a player like the 24-year-old is evident from the fact that Dejan Kulusevski has finished the most
throughout that time, while the Swede has only managed 87.
