John Mousinho backed to sign different West Ham ace for Portsmouth.

Portsmouth could make a summer move for another West Ham player.
Pompey made effective use of the loan market before the season began, signing Freddie Potts from the London Stadium.
The 21-year-old made a significant contribution to John Mousinho’s Championship team during his brief tenure.
The head coach in PO4 may now be set to emulate this signing by returning to the Hammers ahead of the forthcoming transfer window.
Portsmouth backed to recruit new West Ham player
It will undoubtedly be difficult to replace the English midfielder’s talents after all of his excellent work in the middle of the pitch this season.
Despite rotating between Andre Dozzell and Isaac Hayden near the end of the season, the Irons loanee remained a constant in the midfield.
Mousinho may face increased regularity under Graham Potter next season due to his current form.
Having said that, another young player from West Ham might be brought in to cover Potts’ departure.
Former Pompey midfielder Martin Allen suggested Lewis Orford as a potential summer signing to help him grow, similar to his Hammers teammate.
In a May 31 interview with West Ham Zone, he stated that if he goes out on loan, he would have a clause in the contract to recall him on December 31 or January 1.
“If he performs well and West Ham need him and believe he is better than what they have, they may bring him back. I think it would be a wonderful move for him [to join Portsmouth], who have done exceptionally well under John Mousinho.
“The benefit of going on loan to Portsmouth is that you will be exposed to a passionate, enthusiastic fan base. They don’t just sit around eating prawn sandwiches; they are true football fans, and they give it their all.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity for a young player to step in and get involved to learn what it’s like at the highest level. For Mousinho and Orford, I believe that would be an excellent move.”

Orford may shine at Portsmouth on loan.
There is no doubt that the forthcoming window will be highly active at Fratton Park, given the large number of departures already.
Several players, including Hayden, Robert Atkinson, and Adil Aouchiche, have returned to their parent clubs after loan periods.
Potts might be replaced by Orford, a 19-year-old player in need of senior minutes.
Time will tell whether Potter will let him go after handing the teenage midfielder two Premier League appearances so far.
If the Englishman is to let the youngster move temporarily, Pompey could be in the perfect position to pounce, coming into the summer.
