£7k-a-week Stoke City player set for exit – Clubs queuing up to sign him

£7,000 per week Teams are lining up to sign the Stoke City player who is expected to leave.

Simply put, the £1.5 million deal that brought Mmaee to England hasn’t worked out.

Two summers ago, Alex Neil, Stoke’s fourth most recent permanent manager, purchased him, but he hasn’t been able to find success in the Championship.

Even his loan stay with Rapid Wien was a flop: he didn’t play once for the Austrian side in the best part of five months after getting hurt in his first training session.

According to Fraser Fletcher, other teams are interested in signing the 27-year-old Morrocan, including Standard Liege of Belgium, thus Stoke might be able to obtain something for the undesirable player.

Prior to joining Stoke, Mmaee, who is thought to make £7,000 per week at the Potters, did have a strong record.

He scored 13 goals in 24 games for Ferencvaros in the Hungarian first division during the 2022–2023 season, and he scored the same amount in four less games during the previous year.

The Stoke Sentinel had reported that the Potters were open to letting Andre Vidigal, Niall Ennis, and Mmaee depart the team this summer. They stated that the Moroccan was likely to go to Europe.

League One has shown a great deal of interest in the Englishman in the examples of Ennis and Vidigal. The 26-year-old spent the second half of the previous season on loan at Blackpool and Wigan Athletic, but Bolton Wanderers are keen to sign him, according to an exclusive report from Football League World. FLW was also the source of this information.

Vidigal has apparently been eager to stay put despite being made available for a trade since last summer. In his first season with the Potters, the Angolan forward played in the league just under thirty times. In his second, that was lowered to ten.

Mmaee’s contract with Stoke expires in the summer, and although many fans would likely be relieved to see him go, it would be extremely unwise for the team to receive nothing in exchange for the 27-year-old, who they paid £1.5 million for.

Even while such charge is insignificant in comparison to the wealth of Stoke’s owners, the Coates family, it would still be another example of their bad business practices. Their loss on Mmaee, which you would anticipate they would make even if they sell him, would at least be less severe with a sale.
