According to sources who spoke to Football Insider, Ross Wilson, the recruitment chief for Nottingham Forest, turned down an offer from his old team, Huddersfield Town, who wanted Wilson to take on a senior position managing the team’s hiring practices as they try to return to the Championship.
The Terriers’ interest was rejected by the Forest’s chief football officer, though.
Wilson, who worked at Huddersfield from 2012 to 2015 before taking on senior recruitment roles at Southampton and Rangers, is well-liked at the club.
