It has been reported that Bournemouth have come to an agreement over personal terms with Rennes left-back Adrien Truffert for a transfer to the Vitality Stadium, while Liverpool are nearing a deal for Milos Kerkez.
The 23-year-old had a good season in Ligue 1, appearing in 33 of the 34 league matches and helping Rennes to a 12th-place finish.

Foot Mercato, however, asserts that the France international is on the verge of departing the club this summer, having settled personal terms with Bournemouth in anticipation of a Premier League transfer.
The club captain Truffert has a year left on his contract in France. According to Foot Mercato, the two clubs are anticipated to come to an agreement on a transfer close to £15m.

The ECHO reported on the same day that Liverpool is looking to finalize an agreement with the Cherries for Kerkez, and news of Bournemouth’s interest in Truffert coincided with this.
After a breakout season in the Premier League, the Hungary international has piqued the interest of multiple top clubs. However, the Reds are poised to intensify their efforts to secure the £45m-rated defender.
Liverpool are eager to refresh their left-back choices, as first-choice player Andy Robertson is now 31 and nearing the end of his contract, with only 12 months remaining. Additionally, Kostas Tsimikas has had limited Premier League appearances over the past two seasons.
Richard Hughes, the sporting director at Reds and the one spearheading the negotiations, has been a proponent of Kerkez for some time, having transferred him from AZ Alkmaar to Bournemouth in 2023.
In a post on Instagram last month, Kerkez acknowledged his uncertainty about the direction of his future but expressed gratitude to supporters for the two seasons he has had on the South Coast.
Kerkez wrote, “I appreciate the gaffer for having faith in me to start all 38 matches, and I give special thanks to the one above for ensuring my safety and health. Of course, my family is essential for everything to be achievable.” “I’m not sure what the next weeks will bring, but the Cherries family appreciates you!”
Following the conclusion of the Premier League season, Liverpool secured the signing of Jeremie Frimpong and are currently negotiating to acquire his former Bayer Leverkusen teammate Florian Wirtz.
