Sheffield Wednesday Charlton Athletic’s defender becomes a “transfer target” as a reunion with Luton Town is suggested

According to reports, Sheffield Wednesday defender Akin Famewo has become a transfer target for Charlton Athletic, his previous team.

After narrowly defeating Leyton Orient in a fierce play-off final at Wembley, the Addicks recently guaranteed their return to the Championship.

Famewo is well-known at The Valley because he spent two loan stints there while he was a Norwich City player.

Nathan Jones, the manager of Charlton, knows him as well; the two were coworkers at Luton Town.
