Burnley will face an unknown “high profile” opponent at Turf Moor this summer as part of their preseason program.
The club has stated that Scott Parker’s team will resume pre-season training in Gawthorpe on Monday, June 30. The Clarets will spend the first two weeks of pre-season at their training facility before heading to Portugal for a week-long training camp from July 13 to July 20.
When Parker’s players return to the UK, they will begin their friendly program with two games on the same day, with Burnley dividing their squad for away games against Huddersfield Town and Shrewsbury Town on Saturday, July 26.
The following Saturday, August 2, the Clarets travel to the bet365 Stadium to face Championship side Stoke City.
Burnley’s pre-season will culminate with a “high-profile” friendly at Turf Moor on Saturday, August 9. The opposition and ticket details will be released in due time.
The 2025/26 Premier League season then begins the following week.
Burnley will find out their matchups on Wednesday, June 18. Preseason schedule June 30: Return to Gawthorpe for preseason training.
July 13-20: Pre-season training camp in Portugal.
July 26 – Squad splits for two friendlies against Huddersfield Town and Shrewsbury Town, both away at 3pm.
August 2: away friendly against Stoke City, 3 p.m. kickoff August 9: “High profile” friendly at Turf Moor, 3 p.m. kick-off August 16 – 2025/26 Premier League season begins.
