According to Plymouth Live, St. Mirren manager Stephen Robinson has been included in Plymouth Argyle’s list of potential managerial targets.
After their relegation, Plymouth Argyle faced the setback of losing manager Miron Music. His brief tenure as PAFC boss came to an end when German giants FC Schalke 04 swooped for his services.
Muslic had gained significant popularity at Home Park due to his remarkable performance, leading fans to anticipate his departure. However, he reaffirmed his commitment to the club, supported by early signings and off-pitch appointments aimed at assisting him.
However, shortly after that, Schalke came calling, and Muslic clarified that he would be leaving.
Plymouth Argyle have had to move forward with the search for a new manager, and after pinpointing three initial targets, they have also included Stephen Robinson on their shortlist.
According to Plymouth Live, the Pilgrims had initially considered Des Buckingham, Tom Cleverley, and Jack Wilshere as potential targets, but they are now also eager to engage with St. Mirren manager Robinson.
PAFC will soon start the process of interviewing candidates. Additionally, it is noted that Ian Evatt is not a person of interest after being mentioned as a potential option for the relegated club.
The entire playing career of the Northern Irishman was spent in England, primarily within the EFL. He began his coaching career with youth teams in Northern Ireland, served as an assistant at Motherwell, and eventually secured his first managerial position at Oldham Athletic.
The managerial target for Plymouth Argyle would then take on the role of boss at Motherwell, where he would stay for nearly four years. Robinson then made an impression in difficult situations at financially struggling Morecambe, which earned him a move back to Scotland with St. Mirren.
He has taken them to European football on a shoe-string budget and has just guided the Buddies to a 6th-place finish.

In recent seasons, the club hierarchy has faced questions, but they have fairly worked to support Muslic with appropriate infrastructure and timely recruitment.
