For this reason, rumors of interest in Mihailo Ivanovic and Japhet Tanganga will be concerning.
With his impressive performances over the last 18 months, Tanganga has established himself as a quality defender at this level and has been a fantastic addition to the Lions since joining.
Therefore, it is certainly not ideal to hear that he can go this summer for just £1.2 million.
Tanganga probably wouldn’t have signed for Millwall if those conditions hadn’t been in place, therefore the hierarchy will be criticized for accepting such a release clause. In any case, it’s a great deal, and it’s hard to think that elite teams won’t bid that much for the former Spurs player.
Ivanovic’s departure won’t be as straightforward, but Wolves and Lazio are showing interest in the Serbian.
