As interest in the winger continues to grow, Borja Sainz maintains that nothing has been determined regarding his future at Norwich City.

Two teams, one from Liga Portugal and one from the top tier of Serie A, have made several proposals for Sainz, but negotiations are still ongoing and neither team has yet to meet the necessary valuation.

Norwich is aware that its leading scorer is attracting a lot of interest. This summer, teams from England, Greece, Spain, and Turkey are also keeping an eye on Sainz’s condition.

Athletic Bilbao is one of the teams that has received a lot of hype, and the La Liga team is reportedly interested in Basque-born Sainz. Sainz is being mentioned as a possible replacement for winger Nico Williams, who is strongly connected to a move to the Premier League.

In the midst of heated speculation over his future at Carrow Road, the City winger says that his immediate focus is taking a vacation in his home country.

“I’m overjoyed. This season, I wanted to score goals and support the squad. We’ll see what happens the following season.

“I began playing football with Athletic Bilbao. For everything they have done for me, I am thankful. “We’ll see what happens,” Sainz said on Radio Marca in Spain.

“I’m thinking about the holiday right now. I’m going to hang out with my loved ones. We’ll have to wait and see.

“My agent, friends, and family must all be included in this decision-making process. Nothing is final yet; this is a process.

Inside Villarreal’s stadium, Sainz shared an Instagram story, but he explained why he was there.

“Watching these tournaments is always special, and my cousin plays with Athletic Club,” he remarked. “You get excited because they bring back memories of your childhood.”

Sainz’s contract at Carrow Road is about to expire, and while Norwich is open to bids, they won’t allow the Spaniard to leave for less than their asking price.

The winger received a lot of praise for his efforts during the previous Championship season, scoring 18 goals in 41 games to secure a spot on the league’s 2024–25 squad of the year.

Josh Sargent, a striker, has not yet drawn any proposals from City, although there is reportedly increasing interest in the American international.
