The Portsmouth striker is out of contract and apparently wants to join the Dons.
Aberdeen are connected with a deal for Portsmouth attacker Kusini Yengi.
The 26-year-old is available on a free transfer, with his contract at Pompey expiring this month. According to Sky Sports, the Dons are in negotiations with Yengi, who has six goals in 11 appearances for Australia.

It might be the third Australian to join the Dons during the summer transfer season, following the signings of winger Nicolas Milanovic from Western Sydney Wanderers and goalkeeper Nick Suman from Cove Rangers.
On Friday, the Dons signed German youth international Emmanuel Gyamfi on a four-year contract from FC Schalke 04.
