Everton make move for Charlton Athletic prospect

Everton make move for Charlton Athletic prospect.

According to reporter Alan Nixon, Everton has expressed interest in Charlton Athletic prodigy Reuben Gokah.

Charlton Athletic qualified for the Championship after winning the League One play-off final. CAFC defeated Leyton Orient at Wembley Stadium and have promptly turned their attention to next season. The Addicks will take a short break from transfer activity following the initial ‘Club World Cup window’ on Tuesday, but work will continue behind the scenes until the window reopens on Monday.

Signings will be the focus at The Valley, but it appears that prospect Reuben Gokah is leaving. Reporter Alan Nixon stated on his Patreon page that Everton has swooped for Charlton Athletic’s talent. The Toffees see centre-back Gokah as a promising young player and have moved quickly to obtain his services at the age of 16. He appears to be on his way to Bramley Moore Dock after reaching an agreement.

It is unclear what kind of money CAFC will receive from the sale if they land one, but it is likely that a figure would be involved as they bid farewell to one of their brighter youth prodigies.
