Championship team Sheffield United has confirmed the signing of Ehije Ukaki on a three-year contract, subject to the approval of required papers, according to a statement on their official website.
Ukaki, 20, is the second Nigerian forward to join the Blades from Bulgarian top-flight club Botev Plovdiv in 2025, following Christian Nwachukwu, who was signed in the January transfer window.

Ukaki, a product of FDC Vista, is leaving Botev Plovdiv after 58 appearances, seven goals, and four assists. He also has some European experience, having played four qualifying matches for the Europa League and UEFA Conference League last season.
Sheffield United signed Ukaki after receiving a recommendation from the club’s newly adopted data model, which is overseen by their new ownership group.
The system identified Ukaki as a quality player, prompting the Blades to confirm their interest as part of a larger recruitment plan targeted at discovering rising talent through analytics-driven scouting.
Sheffield United were on the edge of promotion to the Premier League last month, but they lost in the playoff final to Sunderland. Ukaki and Nwachukwu will look to make their Sheffield United debuts in the coming season.
