Birmingham City Star Tipped To Seek Summer Exit

Birmingham City Star Tipped To Seek Summer Exit.

Bailey Peacock-Farrell, a Leeds United academy graduate, is looking to move away from Birmingham City this summer to begin his career after falling down the pecking order at St Andrew’s. The 28-year-old began the season as Chris Davies’ first-choice custodian, but lost his spot to veteran Ryan Allsop as the Blues won League One. He concluded the season with 16 total appearances, nine of which were in the league. Birmingham are about to finalise the loan signing of England’s Under-21 custodian James Beadle from Premier League club Brighton. The signing will result in a shuffle in the goalkeeping department, with one of the current three, including Bradley Mayo, perhaps leaving.

According to Birmingham Live, the Leeds United academy graduate appears to be the most likely contender to exit through the St Andrew’s door right now.

While the final decision will definitely rest on the manager, Peacock-Farrell is likely to ask for permission to try his luck elsewhere.
