Dejphon Chansiri continues to cause problems for Sheffield Wednesday and an insight into what it’s like dealing with the owner has been shared.
The Owls are once again in crisis under Dejphon Chansiri, with Sheffield Wednesday failing to pay wages in the month of May.
This is the second time this has happened at Hillsborough in the last 12 months. It has put the club in an embargo, and could even see Sheffield Wednesday hit with a three-window transfer ban.
Wednesday fans continue to hit out at Chansiri, though the ongoing issues don’t look as though they will be solved anytime soon.
Now, an inside scoop on what it’s like trying to deal with the owner of the Yorkshire outfit has been shared.

What dealing with Sheffield Wednesday owner Dejphon Chansiri is really like
The Thai businessman bought the club all the way back in January 2015.
During that time, former player Jon Newsome has had plenty of dealings with the club.
Newsome has acted as an agent and also worked in the media, and has now shared his experience of trying to deal with Chansiri and Wednesday.
As per the Star, he said: “I’ve tried to deal with him. I work as an agent as well as doing some football media stuff. I’ve tried to deal with the football club a couple of years ago and it’s banging your head against a brick wall, the hurdles you have to overcome.
“It was the same trying to get a player into the club, the clauses, the addendums in them. From my point of view they are made by non-football people, he comes up with an idea and he wants to put it in, but he doesn’t think it through.”

Sheffield Wednesday sent warning
Newsome also mentioned how players could soon be leaving the club for free.
If player wages go unpaid for the month of June as well, it means they can terminate their contracts and walk.
That is something Newsome also expressed concern about when speaking recently.
He stated: “My concern is what happens next. The biggest thing for me is that there is such a lack of information coming out of the football club.
“They’ve been late paying the wages time and time again. This one feels different for me, it’s two weeks since the wages were due. I got confirmation from one of the first team lads last night that he’d definitely not been paid.
“He’s got two weeks to pay people because of the FIFA regulations… Otherwise those players can terminate their contracts and walk out of the door.”
