Ben Williams returns to QPR in senior leadership role.

QPR are thrilled to inform that Ben Williams has returned to the club on a full-time basis.

Williams joined the club two years ago as Director of Performance, where he oversees the sports science, medical, physiotherapy, and nutrition departments. In his first season at QPR, the highly acclaimed Williams established the foundations and standards that resulted in exceptional player availability throughout 2023/24. During the 2024/25 season, he worked as a consultant on club-wide issues.

He has recently returned to the club, and his job has developed as part of a reorganisation, with him taking on the role of Director of Sporting Operations. Williams’ new job will allow him to continue his former responsibilities while also directing club-wide performance operations, logistics, and infrastructure initiatives. He has previously worked with renowned cycling team INEOS Grenadiers and British Americas Cup Challenger, INEOS Britannia, as well as French Ligue 1 club OGC Nice, Red Bull, and the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA. Williams stated, “I’m very happy to continue this adventure with a club that not only has a rich heritage but is also constructing with clear ambition—an exciting and sustainable future that every supporter can be proud of.

“It’s an honour to work with this amazing young team and devoted people who are all motivated by performance, creativity, and doing things correctly for the badge that means so much to so many. “The hard work continues, and I can’t wait to kick off the new season with you R’s behind us.” CEO Christian Nourry remarked, “I’m delighted Ben is able to return to the football club on a full-time basis.” “In a sport and league that is growing more competitive than ever, this post will allow Ben to continue to supervise our sports science and medical divisions. While also strategising on how to best position our staff and athletes for success by curating and sustaining a high-performance environment at our TSG Training Centre and MATRADE Loftus Road. “Ben will also have an eye on the medium term in supporting the design of infrastructure projects that the club may wish to embark upon.”
