With changes expected at Molineux, Wolves are preparing for life after the departures of creative forces like Pablo Sarabia and Matheus Cunha.
The West Midlands club are expected to officially unveil the signing of Celta Vigo talent Fer Lopez on Friday, marking the beginning of a reshuffle aimed at boosting attacking flair within the squad. With uncertainty also surrounding the future of Tommy Doyle, a further midfield reinforcement could soon follow.
Andreas Pereira Emerges as a Target
According to The Telegraph, Wolves manager Vitor Pereira has taken an interest in Fulham’s Andreas Pereira. The 29-year-old Brazilian has been a key figure for the Cottagers since arriving from Manchester United in the summer of 2022.
Pereira’s Craven Cottage Contributions
Since his move to west London, Andreas Pereira has played 119 games in all competitions, registering ten goals and 22 assists. Typically deployed in a central midfield role—whether deeper or more advanced—the playmaker has become a staple in Marco Silva’s setup.
However, with just one year left on his current contract, speculation around a potential summer departure is intensifying. The idea of a new challenge appears increasingly viable.
Brazilian Return Not Ruled Out
Talks of a possible return to Brazil have circulated, especially regarding a reunion with Flamengo, where Pereira previously played on loan. At present, Fulham’s valuation remains unclear, and it’s uncertain whether any Brazilian club will meet the expected transfer demands.

For Wolves, Andreas Pereira presents a highly attractive option. A Portuguese-speaking player with nearly 150 Premier League appearances aligns well with Wolves’ profile. Still, much could depend on whether Brazilian sides escalate their pursuit. Having previously won both the domestic cup and the Copa Libertadores with Flamengo, Pereira could be tempted to chase more silverware back in South America.
