‘Nottingham Forest accelerate move to sign Borja Sainz’.

Nottingham Forest are prepared to increase their interest in Norwich City’s Borja Sainz, who has also been linked with Athletic Bilbao and Porto.
That is according to former Manchester United and Blackburn senior scout Mick Brown, who is still very well-connected in the league and has exclusively told Football Insider that the 24-year-old will depart Carrow Road this summer. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side is prepared to compete with European rivals for his signature, believing they can offer better earnings and the opportunity to play in the Premier League. Football Insider reported on February 28 that Norwich are expecting offers for Sainz and may cash in as he enters the final year of his contract. The Spaniard, who finished joint-second in the battle for the Championship golden boot with 18 goals, has emerged as a priority target for several clubs.
Forest are looking to bolster their team in order to compete in the Europa Conference League, and they are looking for a winger in light of Anthony Elanga’s uncertain future.

Nottingham Forest working on Borja Sainz deal
On June 13, Brown informed Football Insider that Forest are working on finding a successor for Elanga, with several candidates already on their list for the summer. The former scout, who has over a decade of expertise in top-level player recruitment after working for Manchester United during their most successful period, has stated that Nuno wants to add a new source of goals to his side ahead of next season. “Nottingham Forest will look to strengthen,” he said Football Insider. “Their recruitment has recently been great, and they’re able to bring players into an environment where everyone works together to benefit the team. “Their scouts will have been working hard and looking at Sainz because he is someone they want to sign.
“It appears he will be departing Norwich. “They’ll know not only his on-field abilities, but also how well he’ll fit in with the squad. “He scored a lot of goals, which is always a plus, and the manager wants to add additional goals to his squad so they don’t have to rely on Wood to perform his magic again. “They’re looking at the Championship market because it offers a lot of value. “I know he has suitors, including large teams like Bilbao and Porto, but Forest’s Premier League and European experience may give them an advantage. “They will be able to offer higher salaries and the opportunity to play in the Premier League.
“So whether they can get a deal done remains to be seen, but it’s something they could look to do because they’ve done their homework on him.”
