Leeds United, managed by Daniel Farke, have reportedly failed to sign
Fulham offensive star Rodrigo Muniz. After returning to the English Premier League, Daniel Farke’s Leeds United are now seeking for a top-tier forward to help them stay there. Rodrigo Muniz of Fulham is one of the names on their shortlist.

While they did make an attempt to sign him, things have not gone as planned. According to Standard Sport, the Yorkshire-based club offered £32 million in total to recruit the Brazilian attacker. However, it was not sufficient to persuade the Cottagers to sell one of their most precious assets.
Rodrigo Muniz rose through the ranks at Flamengo and established himself as a notable player. Fulham signed him in the summer of 2021, after only six months with the first team. He has since established himself as an important member of the squad.
While experienced striker Raul Jimenez was Fulham’s favored option in the final third, Muniz still had plenty of opportunities to make an impact, which he did. In just over 1,300 minutes of first-team involvement spread across 36 games, he scored 11 goals and assisted twice.
Leeds United failed to sign Muniz.
The 24-year-old made the most of his limited playing time, and he is already on the wishlist of several clubs. Leeds United are one of the clubs interested in signing Rodrigo Muniz.
While Joel Piroe had a strong performance in the Championship, Farke wants more quality up front. The Leeds United manager sees Muniz as a fantastic match for his system and a great addition to their long-term project.
As a result, the freshly promoted Premier League team made an offer for £26 million plus £6 million in add-ons. Fulham, on the other hand, considered it carefully before declining. The Cottagers regard him as one of their most important assets, having turned down approaches from West Ham United in January.
While Fulham are hesitant to part ways with the 24-year-old, they recognize that a significant offer could force their hand. Leeds United, meanwhile, are unlikely to return with a stronger bid. With their original bid promptly rejected, they are expected to shift their emphasis to other prospects.
