England international confirms he will become a free agent after ‘contact’ made with Leeds United

England international confirms he will become a free agent after ‘contact’ made with Leeds United.

If Leeds United are to recruit all of their essential players this summer, Adam Underwood will need to strike some deals in addition to the anticipated big-money purchases.

Leeds has completed two additions so far, but the club is expected to make at least ten more this summer.

Lukas Nmecha joined on a free transfer, while Jaka Bijol signed for £15 million. This allows Leeds to add competition up front for free while also addressing the requirement for a centre-back on a budget. However, Leeds needs to do a lot more, and further freebies would be appreciated.

Leeds still requires a goalkeeper, a left-back and full-back cover, a midfielder, a number 10, a left winger and a starting striker. Well, an England international is now available for free, which might save Leeds money.

Kyle Walker-Peters confirms Southampton exit with touching post

Walker-Peters, an England international, is out of contract at the end of this month. With Southampton returning to the Championship, the full-back was expected to go, and it has now been confirmed.

Southampton stated this month that Walker-Peters will move on a free transfer, and the player has now broken his silence on his future, posting a heartfelt message to Saints fans on Instagram.

“He concluded the lengthy message with: “It’s been an honour to represent you. This club has shaped me, and I will always be honoured to be a Saint. Thank you for everything. “With love, KWP.”

Leeds not alone in Kyle Walker-Peters chase this summer

LeedsUnited.News has been informed that communication has been established between Leeds and Walker-Peters or his entourage. However, a number of Premier League clubs are mulling a move for the defender.

Everton, West Ham, and former club Tottenham are all interested in signing Walker-Peters, who now has extensive Premier League experience as well as England caps.

So it’s a wonderful steal for free. Thomas Frank is particularly keen in bringing Walker-Peters back to Spurs, as he would be a homegrown player heading into a Champions League campaign. Walker-Peters’ availability, however, may be determined by game time.
