According to Lee Hendrie, Cardiff City’s attempt to be acquired by Gareth Bale is a very exciting development for the team.
The former winger is in charge of a group that has approached Vincent Tan about buying the Bluebirds, according to a report published by The Athletic last week.
In an interview with Sky Sports, the former Real Madrid player stated unequivocally that he wants to return Cardiff to the Premier League.
After being relegated from the Championship the previous season, the Welsh team is presently getting ready for life in League One.
Lee Hendrie makes Gareth Bale takeover claim

Hendrie has stated that he hopes the 35-year-old’s takeover attempt is successful and that this is an exciting time for Cardiff.
He thinks that the Bluebirds may be a suitable fit for this new adventure under Bale because they have been static in recent years.
Hendrie exclusively told Football League World, “There have been a lot of connections with Gareth Bale, of course, and he has publicly stated that he really wants to help buy Cardiff City to bring the Welsh team back to the Premier League.”
“I believe that Gareth Bale, who is in the rear of the football team and has made it clear that he is passionate about leading the team to the Premier League, should be given careful consideration.
He has clearly given this a lot of thought and believes it has a lot of potential, which is true for a football team of that calibre.
“I believe Gareth Bale has stated very frankly that he wants to move the team to the level where it should be, which is great to hear since it has been stagnant for a while.
“I think it would be a great fit, and I’m sure Cardiff fans will be savouring the fact that this would be a new journey for Bale and Cardiff.”
Brian Barry-Murphy was just hired as Cardiff’s new manager, and the Irishman’s job is to lead the team back to the Championship on their first try.

Fans would be thrilled if Bale took over
Bale has no prior football ownership experience and hasn’t demonstrated that he has the financial sense to manage a company this size.
Nonetheless, the idea of someone with his kind of renown as a player entering into an ownership role would undoubtedly thrill supporters.
If Bale decides to join, he will have to take the chance that things may turn out badly if they don’t work out.
However, if a deal does go through, Cardiff fans may be in for a really exciting period if he can find the appropriate people to join him.
