Celtic offer caveat about star they want to keep as hardline transfer rules in place for £6m superstar from Pozarevac

The champions are getting down to work as they aim to trigger a monumental signing summer

Celtic insist they will not sell Johnny Kenny after Bolton Wanderers’ £500,000 deal for the Republic of Ireland international was rejected.

Sky Sports reports that the Premier League winners may explore loan bids later in the window after the 22-year-old established himself as a crucial role player in the final weeks of last season.

Kenny is being pursued by Bolton and a number of other teams, and he will face a new battle for game time with Fulham B star Callum Osmand set to go to Glasgow soon, where the Welshman is anticipated to join Brendan Rodgers’ first-team squad and compete for playing time.
Kenny received plaudits for his loan periods at Shamrock Rovers, and Rodgers was effusive in his praise after he scored his first goal for Celtic in a 5-1 victory over Aberdeen in May.

Meanwhile. The chase of Veljko Milosavljevic is set to conclude in the coming weeks, according to several Serbian publications. Celtic had a £5.1 million offer rejected down for the 18-year-old.

According to sources, the Red Star standout will cost £6 million to sign, and two unnamed Premier League clubs have been keeping a close eye on the player, dubbed the “boy from Pozarevac,” in recent months.

If Milosavljevic is on his way, Gustaf Lagerbielke is out. Despite uncertainty elsewhere, the Swede is still a Celtic player following his loan spell at Twente, and Braga are eager to sign him on a permanent basis.
Benjamin Nygren is getting closer to his official debut, having landed in Scotland to officially confirm his four-year contract with Danish club Nordsjaelland.
