Following their promotion to the Premier League, Leeds United continue to be associated with Sheffield United’s Gus Hamer.
Gus Hamer’s profile is that of a playmaker who can play as a No.8, No.10, or a wide player who impacts games by inverting into central areas.
Hamer is poised to depart Sheffield United, and Leeds United has a lengthy history of interest in the 28-year-old, dating back to his time at Coventry City.
Leeds have been linked to Hamer for more than a year and are expected to sign him this summer.

Hamer, who came up via Feyenoord’s ranks, might return to the Eredivisie via a different Dutch behemoth. Leeds will undoubtedly be on high alert because to Hamer’s potentially inexpensive price tag.
However, it is unknown whether Hamer would be available to Leeds for such an amount, or if the Blades would want to sell him to overseas clubs at a lower price, which is a potential issue for Daniel Farke’s team.
