Charlton Athletic Keen To Stop Transfer Targets Leaks.

According to journalist Richard Cawley, Charlton Athletic wants to keep information about transfer targets quiet this summer.
The Addicks were late entrants to the Championship, having only gained promotion through the League One playoffs.
Manager Nathan Jones and the entire club must work tirelessly to fully prepare the players for the challenge that awaits them in the second tier, where there are many big fish with Premier League dreams. However, progress has been slow, with Blackpool’s Sonny Carey being the sole signing.
Jones believes it will be one of the most difficult windows for his squad because they finished the season late and must compete against teams with more money.
“It will be one of our toughest windows,” Jones told the club’s reporters. “One, because the season ended so late, and two, because we’re entering a tough league with large funds – we’re up against a different level of recruitment.Team

“One, because of finishing the season so late but, two, going into a competitive league where there are huge budgets – we’re competing against a different level of recruitment.
” And Charlton wants to keep a tight lid on their recruitment attempts since they are aware that they will be competing with a lot of large clubs for targets.
Charlton have recently been linked with a transfer for Brighton and Hove Albion defender Odeluga Offiah.
The player’s flexibility to play in a variety of defensive positions has made him an appealing prospect for the Addicks.
However, defence is not the only area under consideration, as Charlton will undoubtedly need to strengthen their assault in order to compete in the Championship.
