Similar to Real Madrid great Raul, Sunderland is expected to launch a £17 million bid for the 21-year-old.
According to a source, Sunderland is apparently now circling for a gifted Real Madrid youngster as part of its exciting
plans to solidify in the top flight.
Marcin Bulka and Habib Diarra are being pursued by Sunderland.
The Black Cats are moving quickly to assemble a team that can compete in the Premier League, and it’s safe to say
that Regis Le Bris is making significant strides in the transfer market.
Fabrizio Romano announced yesterday that Sunderland will buy Habib Diarra of Strasbourg for a reported £30
million plus add-ons, strengthening their engine room in preparation for the upcoming season.

Cats are about to sign OGC Nice custodian Marcin Bulka.
Before what looks to be a unique campaign for everyone associated with the club, Wearside has undergone extensive
due diligence. Another target is Moussa Baradji, a midfielder for Yverdon Sport, who is rumoured to be available for
£2.5 million.
Even though there will be a wait because administrative formalities must be completed before he can enter the
premises, Sunderland Echo journalist Phil Smith has revealed that Florent Ghisolfi will take over as Sunderland’s
director of football off the pitch.
He clarified: “It’s believed that Sunderland and Ghisolfi are completing the transaction, and there are official
procedures to follow when bringing in a player from overseas.
If all goes according to plan, it will be ready for Ghisolfi to start working when the players return to the Academy of
Light in early July and the season preparations get on.
Returning to football, Sunderland is apparently going to increase their efforts to sign a gifted player who currently
plays for Real Madrid.
Gonzalo Garcia could be offered by Sunderland.
According to Spanish media, Sunderland is prepared to make a loan bid for Gonzalo Garcia of Real Madrid that
might exceed £17 million with an obligatory buyout option.
The 21-year-old forward, who has been a breakthrough success at the Club World Cup and has been compared to
Raul by Los Blancos manager Xabi Alonso, is also attracting interest from Real Oviedo, AS Roma, and Leeds United.

Real Madrid might, however, try to work out a £25.6 million repurchase clause for the former Spain Under-19
player.
In 43 games across all competitions, Garcia recorded 28 goals and six assists, capping off an incredible season that
included his exploits with the La Liga powerhouses’ first squad.
Sunderland may have to use all of their negotiating leverage to get this one over the finish line, but they will hope
that the maxim “if you don’t ask, you don’t get” will be a deciding factor when talks heat up.
