‘West Ham ready Omari Hutchinson raid after Mohammed Kudus exit’
According to their former top scout, West Ham is considering a summer bid to recruit Ipswich Town sensation Omari Hutchinson.
Scouts have been following the 21-year-old at the Under-21s Euros, according to an exclusive interview with Football Insider with Mick Brown, the former chief scout for teams like Man United and Blackburn who is still very well-connected at his old clubs.
Hutchinson is seen to be Mohammed Kudus’ “ideal” replacement, and they are getting ready to lose him before the transfer window ends.
In May, Football Insider exclusively disclosed that Hutchinson’s contract with Ipswich, which was relegated from the Premier League, contained a £35 million release clause.
Despite the high asking price, there is a sense that the proceeds from Kudus’ sale might be used to sign the former Arsenal academy star.
Last summer, Hutchinson moved from Chelsea to Portman Road for £22.5 million, and his Premier League performances won over several admirers.

Omari Hutchinson’s West Ham plot swoop
Last month, Brown informed Football Insider that Graham Potter is willing to let Kudus go and bring in a successor, thus West Ham will consider bids for him.
Having spent more than ten years at Manchester United during their most successful era, the former scout has extensive experience in recruiting elite players and has maintained that Hutchinson is the front-runner to succeed the Ghanaian international.
He told Football Insider, “West Ham has been looking at Omari Hutchinson.”
“I’ve heard that scouts who were keeping an eye on him for the England Under-21 team were impressed by what they saw.
He has benefited somewhat from that competition since it has increased interest in his predicament when it seemed to have waned.
He has a particular something about him and is undoubtedly a gifted player.
He still needs to improve his consistency if he wants to perform at the highest level, in my opinion.
However, West Ham will be aware of the advantages and disadvantages before deciding if he is the best fit for them.
“They will need to replace Kudus if they lose him, which appears to be the case.
Hutchinson is thought to be the best candidate for the position.
“If West Ham makes a sizable sum of money from the Kudus deal, they can use that to bring him in. He has this release clause in his Ipswich contract.”
