Greg Taylor’s brutal reaction to Kris Boyd’s assertion that the Celtic hero would “go back” to rooting for Rangers
Greg Taylor made a spectacular move when he left Celtic to sign a free transfer to PAOK!
Let’s face it, many were aware that Taylor had been a Rangers fan as a child before moving to Celtic from Kilmarnock in 2019.
Taylor played with former Gers striker Kris Boyd at Killie, who is currently ranting on Sky Sports about Rangers’ collapse and Celtic’s supremacy.
Boyd was waiting in the comments section when Taylor, a left-back, came to social media on July 1st to formally thank the Celtic Park supporters for everything following the announcement of his transfer to PAOK.

Greg Taylor reacts to Kris Boyd’s assertion that the Celtic hero will “go back” to rooting for the Rangers.
Taylor caused a rift at Celtic, primarily among the fans, but it’s safe to assume that his social media posts will be well received by his detractors.
Boyd reminded the 27-year-old of his Rangers-supporting days after he said that his trophy-winning Celtic stint was “a chapter of my life I will never forget.”
The Sky analyst predicted that Taylor would resume “supporting the famous now,” but Celtic’s outgoing hero swiftly silenced him in the most effective manner.
Boyd wrote, “Back supporting the famous now,” while adding blue heart emojis.
However, Taylor had the finest possible response, saying, “Not a chance .” The most successful squad in the world, in my opinion
Taylor’s Celtics record
When Brendan Rodgers’ team defeated Rangers on penalties at Hampden in the League Cup final last season, Celtic became the most successful club in Scotland.
Ironically, Taylor started the game by equalizing after the half to set the tone after he made a mistake in the first half, and the rest is history.
Taylor has won more League Cup trophies in Glasgow in the last six years than Rangers have in the previous fifteen, so that would be his third trophy in Celtic colors.
- Premiership titles – 5
- Scottish Cup – 3
- League Cup – 3
