A new Leeds signing is on the way, and he may not be the only one.
Before joining his new teammates, an incoming Leeds United signing has delivered a Whites teaser. Giant Slovenian international defender Jaka Bijol was introduced as United’s second signing of the summer last month, joining for around £15 million from Udinese.
United’s players will resume pre-season testing and training next week ahead of the upcoming 2025-26 Premier League season, and Bijol appears to be excited about the prospect.
An airport shot looking over a runway
On his Instagram story, the centre-back shared an airport photo looking over a runway, as well as a graphic of a jet taking off.
Leeds are also close to signing Sweden international left back Gabriel Gudmunddson from Lille, so the 26-year-old defender is unlikely to be the sole new Whites player.
The YEP learns that the defender was scheduled to come in the country today while talks continue.
