European club in talks to sign Southampton winger Samuel Edozie
Southampton are in discussions with Belgian giants Club Brugge over the potential transfer of winger Samuel Edozie, according to respected journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
The 21-year-old winger, who joined Southampton from Manchester City in 2022, is among the players expected to depart St. Mary’s this summer as the club embarks on a significant squad overhaul. The Saints’ hierarchy, led by new manager Will Still, are preparing for life in the Championship following a catastrophic Premier League campaign that saw the club relegated with just 12 points — narrowly avoiding the infamous record set by Derby County’s 11-point total in the 2007/08 season.
