Player travelling today for Sunderland medical after Black Cats reach full agreement

Three days ago, Sunderland signed Noah Sadiki from Royale Union Saint-Gilloise.

This summer, the Black Cats returned to Belgium to sign Chemsdine Talbi of Club Brugge.

Sunderland have made advances and are very close to bringing the 20-year-old to the Stadium of Light.

That’s according to Het Laatste Nieuws journalist Tomas Taecke, who took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to announce that the Jupiler Pro League team and Sunderland have struck a deal on the winger’s transfer.

He claims the two teams worked out the final terms of their agreement late on Sunday. The operation will cost the Premier League newcomers more than €20 million, including bonuses.

Talbi will have to undergo medical tests and sign a contract with Sunderland before his move becomes official.

Sunderland and Club Brugge have ‘done deal’, according to HLN. The attacker and his entourage will go to England today, where he will have medical checks with Sunderland either today or tomorrow.

Talbi will sign a five-year deal with the English club. In 44 appearances last season, the winger scored seven goals and assisted five times.
