Nottingham Forest enter race for ‘unplayable’ star, he starred against Nuno Espirito Santo last season.
Nottingham Forest will need to be aggressive in the transfer market, as the club prepares to make a significant sale.

Anthony Elanga is moving to Newcastle, leaving the Forest squad substantially thinner than it was a year ago. Last season, Forest qualified for the UEFA Conference League, and Nuno Espirito Santo must be given the necessary means to compete in four different competitions.
Igor Jesus has already signed for Forest from Botafogo, but he will need to be supplemented by extra talent, with Elanga scheduled for a physical in the Northeast.
Ramon Sosa has also agreed to depart Forest, leaving some significant vacancies to fill across the pitch.

Nottingham Forest enter Jack Grealish race
Grealish is leaving Manchester City following just 20 Premier League matches last season. City are reshuffling their playing roster, and Grealish will be the fall guy, according to Caught Offsidenow, who claims he is on Forest’s radar.
Everton are also keeping an eye on Grealish, while Tottenham and Newcastle are both hoping to sign him this summer. Naturally, given that he makes roughly £300,000 per week, clubs in Saudi Arabia are seeking to show their ambition, however Grealish is considered to prefer sticking in Europe.
What Rio Ferdinand and Pep Guardiola said about Jack Grealish
It’s disappointing to see how Grealish’s time at City has gone, but Forest might at least provide the versatile attacker with European football next season.
A loan transfer appears more plausible, as his salaries are likely to prevent most Premier League sides from signing him permanently. Ferdinand referred to Grealish as ‘unplayable’ after a Champions League match against RB Leipzig in 2023, and the player does have that quality on occasion.
Grealish lacks Elanga’s raw pace, but if given the opportunity to play in a similar capacity, he has the potential to unpick some locks in the Reds’ final third.
One of Grealish’s best performances for City last season came against Forest, when Pep Guardiola described him as ‘class’ following a 3-0 victory over the Reds in December.
