Anthony Elanga is given three items by Eddie Howe to work on at Newcastle United.

On July 11th, Elanga formally joined Newcastle United, meaning the Magpies have finally found their man. He has already gotten to know many of his new teammates and has committed to a five-year contract at St. James’ Park. In what should turn out to be the final piece of the puzzle, Eddie Howe is “delighted” to sign Elanga. The Sweden international will be seen as the answer by Newcastle United, who have been clamouring for more depth on the right of attack.
Elanga won’t require an adjustment period because of his experiences with Nottingham Forest and Manchester United. Though there is certainly room for improvement, he can immediately affect Tyneside. Eddie Howe is an expert at improving his players’ skills, and a strategy has already been established for the areas that require improvement.
According to the Athletic, Newcastle United believes that Elanga can still go better in three areas: Newcastle United thinks Elanga can increase his goal total. They urge him to practise performing a high press. There is room for improvement in his general consistency.
The 23-year-old recently had the highest goal-producing season of his career. While Elanga only has 16 professional goals from his 137 games at Manchester United and Nottingham Forest, he scored six goals in all competitions.
Since pressing is a major component of Newcastle United’s game, Howe will be especially eager to help Elanga become a better presser. Elanga will have to emulate the Magpies’ intense style of play in order to blend in.
