Leeds United and Spurs discover who Kyle Walker-Peters is signing for, deal agreed and medical booked
Throughout 2025, Kyle Walker-Peters has been associated with Leeds United. The next destination of the flying full-back has now
been made public.
Leeds United has been after Kyle Walker-Peters since the beginning of the year, and their full-back position was certain to require
attention during this summer’s transfer window.
Junior Firpo is joining Real Betis on a free transfer, but the Whites appear to have signed Gabriel Gudmundsson from Lille for £10
million, seemingly replacing him right away.
Along with players like Jayden Bogle and Isaac Schmidt, Sam Byram has also signed a new contract with the team, so the full-back
position doesn’t seem to be as urgent as it did a week or two ago.
However, for Daniel Farke this summer, another name—one like Walker-Peters, who can play on both flanks—still looks essential, if
not essential. However, Leeds United has had to contend with rivals for Walker-Peters’ services.
The likes of former club Spurs and Everton have also been linked. But the 28-year-old, who’s now a free agent after leaving
Southampton, is headed for Turkey.
Kyle Walker-Peters agrees Turkey move amid Leeds United transfer rumours

Gazetesi, Walker-Peters and Besiktas have reached a deal, and the player “will arrive in Istanbul today” (July 12th) for his physical
before joining Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad for their preseason camp in Austria.
Besiktas and Leeds have already made headlines this summer over a number of transfers: Besiktas won the race to sign Tammy
Abraham on loan from Roma, despite him being linked to a move to Elland Road, and both teams sought to sign Bright Osayi-Samuel,
who has since joined Birmingham City on a free transfer.
Aston Villa, a Premier League competitor, and FC Utrecht, a Dutch team, are also interested in Semih Kilicsoy, who has been linked to
Leeds United at Besiktas.
Which full-backs are linked with Leeds United after Gabriel Gudmundsson arrival?

right-back, preferably one who can play on either wing.
Vladimir Coufal might yet be that someone. After being released by West Ham, Coufal, who also has Wolves and Everton as suitors,
has been heavily linked to Leeds United.
According to Coufal’s agent, Farke is currently considering his alternatives and may become more interested in Coufal, who is mostly a
right-back, after losing out on Walker-Peters.
However, Leeds United appears to be concentrating their immediate attention on other places on the pitch, primarily on the flank,
with a bid on the table for Jeremie Boga at Nice after signing Gudmundsson and extending Byram’s contract.
