Millwall lose to Crystal Palace in behind-closed-doors friendly.

In a behind-closed-doors friendly earlier today, Millwall lost 1-0 to Premier League club Crystal Palace.
Alex Neil fielded a different starting eleven in each half, with new acquisition Max Crocombe starting in goal in the first half and record signing Josh Coburn partnering Macaulay Langstaff up forward.
Several under-21 players were also there, including Rafiq Lamptey, Jack Howland, Ben Drake, Sheldon Kendall, and Alfie Massey.
The Lions came close to opening the score early on when Ben Drake’s mishit pass was deflected into Langstaff’s path, but despite some good work, the striker shot over.
The Eagles seized the lead early in the second half after Jesurun Rak-Sakyi completed off a counterattack.
Millwall now head off to Spain for a week-long training camp in Murcia, where they will play two friendlies at the Pinatar Arena.The Lions return to England on Saturday, July 19, with three away encounters scheduled: AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday, July 22 (kick-off 7.30pm), Bromley on Saturday, July 26 (kick-off 3pm), and Sutton United on Tuesday, July 29 (kick-off 7.45pm).
They will then host Primeira Liga club GD Estoril Praia at The Den on Saturday, August 2 (kick-off 1pm), in their final pre-season friendly before beginning their league campaign away at Carrow Road the following weekend.
