Celtic release Adidas Global Training Kit after 2025/26 away strip, fans are deeply unhappy

On the morning of the 2025–26 away kit unveiling, Celtic issued even more Adidas items, putting the team at risk of angering the supporters. After hinting at the new Adidas unveiling last night in a late social media tweet, Celtic revealed the new away uniform this morning. Celtic supporters blasted the Parkhead board for making more money during the launch while neglecting to invest significantly in bolstering Brendan Rodgers’ team. However, the fans will not be pleased with Celtic’s most recent merchandising release if they were upset over the launch of the away kit.

Celtic’s low-key release of the 2025/26 Global Training Kit

In a low-key social media release, Celtic fans can now pre-order the new Global Training Kit which the club say will complement the new away jersey.

From a basic t-shirt to training jackets and hoodies, Celtic fans have the choice of 15 new pieces of men’s kit or five new pieces of women’s training gear.

Priced from £38 for a pair of women’s training shorts to £85 for a men’s all-weather jacket, Celtic fans will be feeling the pinch as the club look to squeeze even more money out of the new Adidas deal.

The Celtic board could face another huge fan backlash with relentless Adidas merchandise releases

67 Hail Hail has covered every Adidas kit that has been released this summer, and the website has also recorded all of the fan feedback. The debut of the Global Training Kit is Celtic’s seventh merchandise release since May, and a sizable portion of the Hoops fan base has not been pleased with any of them.

Celtic’s constant release of new merchandise and inability to add players to the roster is generating a negative backlash on social media as supporters wait for the team to invest appropriately in new players. Additionally, based on the response to Celtic’s most recent tweet, it seems like supporters are abandoning the team more quickly than they can sell the uniforms.
