Tyler Dibling will only stay at Southampton on one condition as £50m price tag set amid Tottenham interest
EFL Analysis can show Southampton’s prospects of retaining jet-heeled winger Tyler Dibling as they prepare for a
promotion challenge in the 2025–2026 campaign.
Last season, Southampton was relegated from the Premier League in a terrible manner, nearly surpassing Derby
County’s all-time low point total.
The Saints had a few bright spots during the season, but one of them was Tyler Dibling, an energetic winger who
made 33 appearances in the top flight, including a spectacular display against Manchester United.
Therefore, it was not surprising that some of the Premier League’s biggest clubs expressed interest in the 19-year-old.
In March, Southampton slapped an eye-watering £100 million price tag on him.
The South Coast team is getting ready for a Championship campaign, so inevitably, rumours about Dibling’s future
may surface.
Tottenham ‘very keen’ on Tyler Dibling as Southampton set £50m price tag

Southampton, Leicester City, and Ipswich Town.
As the transfer market progresses, interest in Dibling is unsurprisingly growing. According to EFL Analysis,
Tottenham is “very keen” on the Englishman, joining teams like Manchester United, West Ham, and Nottingham
Forest in their infatuation.
We can also disclose that Southampton values the winger at almost £50 million, according to information provided
by our Chief Football Correspondent, Graeme Bailey.
Bailey adds that Will Still would like ‘the opportunity to work’ with the player, and ‘there’s a reasonable chance’ he
could stay if he believes his side can finish in the top two this season.
So, with Southampton one of the favourites for promotion and currently assembling a quality squad, keeping Dibling
would be a huge boost.
Why Dibling should stay at Southampton
For the Saints academy graduate, the Premier League is undoubtedly a desirable destination, and anyone in his
shoes would be eager to return.
However, it is impossible to overestimate the significance of playing consistent first-team football at the age of 19,
which St. Mary’s guarantees him.
If the electric wide player were to sign with a team like Tottenham this summer, who have a tonne of wing options,
he wouldn’t have that luxury.
Depending on if he gets promoted, Dibling should play at the Championship level for a season before evaluating his
choices the following summer.
