Southampton shouldn’t be fazed by Jesurun Rak-Sakyi to Rangers links, they can borrow ‘brave’ Chelsea starlet instead

Southampton shouldn’t be fazed by Jesurun Rak-Sakyi’s links to Rangers; they can borrow ‘brave’ Chelsea starlet instead

Last season, the Hampshire team almost shattered Derby County’s points record with just 12 points from 38 games,

making it a terribly disappointing season for the Saints.

However, there are expectations that the team can turn around and get back on track with a top two finish target

now that Will Still is in control.

The Premier League is interested in Tyler Dibling, but Damion Downs is a really interesting addition. However,

Southampton needs to focus on a young Chelsea attacker after potentially missing out on their own target.

Southampton must push for Tyrique George after Jesurun Rak-Sakyi

TBR Football have revealed that the Saints have been keen on bringing Jesurun Rak-Sakyi on loan this summer, but

they are set to miss out on a deal with Scottish giants Rangers closing in on a deal.

It will be annoying for Southampton that the winger, who made an impression with Sheffield United in 2024–2025,

has determined that a move to the Ibrox is in his best interests.

After a breakout season at Stamford Bridge last season, they must now focus on Chelsea, as the Club World Cup

champions are hoping to send Tyrique George out on loan before the deadline.

In 26 games for the senior team during the previous season, he recorded three goals and five assists. However, in

order to reach his full potential, he needs consistent play, which Southampton can provide.

Enzo Maresca is a huge fan of Tyrique George

Before making the move to the first team, George, a very exciting talent, excelled for Chelsea U21s the previous

season.

The winger has received high praise from his manager, Enzo Maresca, on a number of occasions, but perhaps none

more so than following the Blues’ 1-0 victory over Manchester United in May. “Very good,” he stated (via:

Football.London). Excellent. courageous.

He posed a danger from behind. He found it difficult because Shaw, Lindelof, and Maguire were on the opposing

side.

He was up against significant defenders. Once more, though, we attempted to work out a solution with an academy

player. Overall, I believe he performed admirably because he also had the penalty moment.
