Town has lost all five of their friendlies thus far, most recently drawing 0-0 with West Ham United Under-21s on Tuesday.

“We want to perform better in terms of our work out of possession and how we keep the ball,” Nolan stated. I thought we were a touch off on Tuesday, so there are certain small things we need to work on.
However, we haven’t begun focusing on those minor details on the training field until this week. Even though we’ve been visually demonstrating it since the beginning of preseason, hearing it from you on the practice field can occasionally give them a boost of confidence.
Now that we’re getting rid of them and giving them less stress, we should see the results of all the work we’ve done over the past five weeks, and they’ll be in good condition and ready for the season.
The guys’ ability to absorb information has impressed me, and this upcoming game is crucial. After that, it will be a busy week as we prepare to assault Wigan.
Although tactical preparation has begun to take precedence this week, Nolan’s top preseason aim is still raising his team’s level of fitness. “I’m pleased with the current state of fitness,” he continued.
“We’ve tried to do that as much as we can by working hard and playing them through fatigue, which is what we’ve done for the last four or five games, but you know they probably won’t be proper match ready because you can’t replicate league games.”
