Southampton urged to consider Tyler Dibling’s England U19 attacking teammate

Tyler Dibling and his English U19 teammate Tyrique George are expected to form an intriguing wing combo with the

Saints.

In retrospect, it has been precisely three weeks since Tyler Dibling became a surprise candidate to return to Chelsea.

Although Saints were alarmed by that information, Chelsea’s connections with Dibling had all but been severed due

to the lack of a return inquiry.

Tyler Dibling and his English U19 teammate Tyrique George are expected to form an intriguing wing combo with the Saints.

In retrospect, it has been precisely three weeks since Tyler Dibling became a surprise candidate to return to Chelsea.

Although Saints were alarmed by that information, Chelsea’s connections with Dibling had all but been severed due

to the lack of a return inquiry.

And that’s for fair reasons, given how the Blues’ CWC triumph has changed their youth transfer stance. That’s

because, in a surprise no one saw coming, Chelsea have now gone from inviting youth talents like Dibling to

departing their club youngsters for foreign development.

Well, and what would have felt unimaginable weeks ago, Southampton can end up bringing a Blues youngster rather

than departing their players.

Take the case of Chelsea’s teenage starlet, Tyrique George, for instance.

Tyrique George, 19, was recently hailed by the EFL Analysis as a must-pursue prospect for Southampton. While the

winger’s stellar season last year speaks for itself, the Saints also need to think about permanently bringing this

George-Dibling combination together because of George’s psychic connection to Tyler Dibling.

George-Dibling duo can stand upto fans’ long-held expectations

In case you were unaware, George and Dibling have shared a few dressing rooms despite their early careers. Dibling

bonded with George at Stamford Bridge after his aborted 2022 move, but the two are now teammates in England’s

U19 squad.

The timing of this possible connection, however, is the icing on the cake. This is because Southampton had been

competing for winger recruits after losing out on Idrissa Gueye’s transfer recently, and what better way to do so than

to be offered a wing partnership opportunity that seems too good to be true?

Imagine the inventiveness these adolescents could bring to the Saints’ attack, with Dibling running down the right

and George cutting in from the left. In fact, if things goes as planned, Saints supporters who have been waiting a long

time to see Dibling and Amo-Ameyaw form such a team will soon have their biggest dream come true.

It goes without saying that these factors must be compelling enough for the Saints board to give George’s possible

signing careful consideration. And who knows, they might be even luckier to get the winger for nothing, which would

increase their transfer savings even more.
