Contact intensified for Wolves player – ‘Solid target’ despite €50m value

Earlier this month, Gazzetta dello Sport reported Wolves midfielder Andre is a target for Juventus.

The Bianconeri, who are keen on signing at least one midfielder, have a host of options on their shortlist and it seems like the Brazilian is being strongly considered.

La Stampa indicate towards something similar today. They report that despite Wolves’ price tag of €50m, Juve see the the 24-year-old as a ‘solid target’ for the summer.

Even though the Old Lady will struggle to meet that asking price, they want to keep the deal alive and see how the situation evolves towards the end of the window.

As a result, contacts have intensified for Andre in the last two weeks and if Juve manage to sell on their players, a move for the Brazilian can gain momentum.

Wolves signed the midfielder for €25m last summer. Even though €50m feels like a presumptuous figure from the Italian press, it would help Vitor Pereira’s side earn a hefty profit.

La Stampa report that Juve’s other targets for midfield include Sporting’s Morten Hjulmand, Fenerbahce’s Sofyan Amrabat and Fulham’s Sander Berge.
