Millwall agree deal for Alfie Doughty.

MILLWALL have reached an agreement with Luton Town for the permanent transfer of Alfie Doughty, NewsAtDen understands.

The 25-year-old is scheduled to undergo a medical with the club. Doughty is a versatile wing-back who can play in both central and advanced areas of the pitch.

Doughty came through Charlton Athletic’s youth academy before joining Stoke City in January 2021. He joined Luton for an undisclosed fee in the summer of 2022,

following a loan spell at Cardiff City, and went on to play an important role in the team’s promotion to the top flight, scoring two goals and assisting seven in 35 league appearances.

Doughty finished his Luton career having scored six goals and recorded eighteen assists in 102 appearances.

He impressed in his debut season in the Premier League, recording ten goal contributions as he appeared in all but one of the Hatters’ league games.
