After losing out on a chance to sign Feyenoord’s erratic winger Igor Paixao, Leeds United supporters are anxious to learn who the team plans to target in the transfer market.

After Manor Solomon returned to Tottenham and Paixao decided to join Marseille, Leeds is still looking for a left-sided attacker, bringing Adam Underwood’s list of priorities down to only two this summer.
Paixao, who contributed to 37 goals and assists for Feyenoord in the last campaign, has consistently expressed a desire to join Marseille.
If Feyenoord and Marseille couldn’t agree on a price, he would have been delighted to join Leeds. It appeared that Leeds could financially push Marseille too far, which might be the case.
However, Feyenoord and Marseille have now agreed on a £30.3 million deal, and Paixao appears to be headed to Ligue 1.
Leeds is left in the dark in the meantime. After Paixao, fans are asking who would be targeted, and Leicester City star Bilal El Khannouss is one possibility.
However, the Morocco star is facing increasing competition. Bilal El Khannouss’ Sunderland transfer rivalry is reopened by Leeds.
It appeared that Sunderland was replicating Leeds’ homework at the start of the summer transfer window. merely spending more than Leeds for players like Noah Sadiki and Habib Diarra that Leeds had pursued.
Since both teams had recently been promoted, it was inevitable that they would be associated with the same players. However, not to that degree. Leeds had negotiations to sign Reinildo Mandava, another Sunderland acquisition.
