Callum Osmand, a new striker for Celtic, is optimistic about his ability to contribute to the team following a successful first preseason under Brendan Rodgers.

At the conclusion of his term in London, Osmand signed a four-year contract with the Bhoys after joining from English Premier League team Fulham this summer.
During the preseason, the forward has played in several friendlies and traveled with the first team to Portugal, Italy, and Ireland.
As it stands, Adam Idah and Shin Yamada are both likely to be selected before him, giving him competition in the position. Rodgers is also still searching the trade market for additional attackers to bolster his team.
Osmand, however, is pleased with his experience at the club thus far and is content to wait for his chance.
The teenager said, “I’m loving it,” to Sky Sports. “It’s a fantastic club; it’s simply enormous. I truly feel at home here, and I’m loving every second because of the amazing fans.”
“I add speed, I add a bit of flair, and just what the strikers here are usually doing and what they’re good at,” Osmand said when asked what he brings to the team.
There have been such players in past years, and I genuinely admire them and hope to emulate them.”
