West Brom have made an offer for Cadiz striker Christoper Ramos, according to Spanish journalist Matteo Moretto.
West Brom are gearing up for their fifth consecutive season in the Championship. Last season, WBA finished in ninth place, with Carlos Corberan and Tony Mowbray in charge.
Ryan Mason is the latest to be tasked with taking the Baggies back to the Premier League.

Mason’s side has made three acquisitions this summer in an effort to strengthen their roster.
Nat Phillips and George Campbell have strengthened the backline, while Aune Heggebo was signed following a solid start to the season in Norway.
West Brom are reportedly interested in Spanish attacker Christopher Ramos. According to Matteo Moretto on X, the Championship side has made a €2.5 million bid for the Cadiz player, but they are not alone in their pursuit of Ramos.
Rayo Vallecano is willing to pay €2.5 million plus bonuses, while freshly promoted Real Ovideo had previously offered €2 million for the 28-year-old.
Despite the proposals that Cadiz has received thus far, Moretto notes that Cadiz’s asking price is currently €5 million.

Do West Brom require another striker?
West Brom supporters may be surprised to learn that the team is looking for another centre forward. WBA presently has Daryl Dike and Aune Heggebo as front-line options, while Josh Maja is working on his rehabilitation after appearing in a recent friendly against Lincoln City.
Devante Cole is also on the books, but Reading and Port Vale have expressed interest after failing to make a single start last season.
Karlan Grant is also considered an up-front possibility, therefore WBA’s interest in Ramos may indicate that one of their frontline members is on the verge of leaving.

Ramos, who stands over 6’3″ tall, scored 10 goals in difficult conditions for Cadiz last season. Following their relegation from La Liga, Ramos’ squad had another dismal season, finishing 13th. WBA, Rayo Vallecano, and Real Oviedo have all expressed interest in this situation.
Funds might be better spent elsewhere
With West Brom having to pay a cost comparable to that paid to Heggebo for Ramos’ services, the Baggies may be better off searching elsewhere.
When fit, Maja, Dike, and Grant are Championship-caliber players. If they keep at least two of those, including Heggebo, signing Ramos may not be a priority for WBA.
There is still uncertainty around Tom Fellows, who is expected to attract a large salary for his services this summer, so some may believe that the Baggies should focus their attention on other aspects of Mason’s attack.
With just over a month until the transfer window closes, there is still plenty of activity on the horizon.
