Steven Alzate, a former Brighton midfielder, has joined an MLS team.

He left Hull City for Atlanta United, an MLS team, for an unknown sum estimated to be around £1.5 million.
Alzate left Humberside after becoming a regular with the Tigers in the second half of the previous campaign. Five years ago, under Graham Potter, the Colombian international was viewed as the face of a promising new beginning. He joined the first team alongside Aaron Connolly, who is currently with Alzate’s first club, Leyton Orient, after initially playing as a wing-back.
