Kyogo hits Birmingham City teething problems as teammates try to recognize the fast factor over Celtic favourite.

Some of Birmingham City’s players are having trouble recognizing the Celtic favorite’s short runs, according to manager Chris Davies.

The player was signed this summer. When Kyogo arrived from Vissel Kobe in the Ange Postecoglou, he won over the hearts and minds of everyone at Parkhead.

Prior to left earlier this year for Ligue 1 team Rennes, he scored 85 goals in 165 games overall. However, his move to France proved disastrous as he only played six games without contributing a goal.

Davies, a former Celtic player, has now strengthened his Birmingham City roster by adding the Japanese international, who joins his Championship team following League One success.

Although he was benched for a friendly match against Nottingham Forest, when he was competing for starting spots against players like Jay Stansfield, who scored in the 1-0 victory, he has had some early trouble.

Davies acknowledges that his new teammates are having trouble recognizing when Kyogo is doing his signature fast runs, which Celtic supporters have grown to like.

The former Celtic coach told Birmingham Live: “We try to highlight things in every minute of every game, and he does make very, very good runs and a lot of them.”

Even though there are moments when he is not seen or located, I want him to keep running and playing with that enthusiasm.

As you can see, he is fast. He pressed the goalie in one of them, and you could see how his pace changed.
