Everton’s departure from Tyler Dibling could possibly have an influence on Nottingham Forest.

The decision by Everton to stop pursuing Southampton winger Tyler Dibling may have an effect on Nottingham Forest.

This summer transfer window, Nottingham Forest is looking to bolster their attacking lineup, and they have already added some notable players.

Igor Jesus and Jair Cunha, both Brazilians, have joined Forest, and Dan Ndoye, a Bologna talisman, has also moved to the City Ground.

Adama Traore of Fulham has been connected to the Tricky Trees, and Nuno Espirito Santo and his executives are intent on adding another creative player.

However, as their attempt to sign Dibling seems to be about to fail, the Toffees may now pursue one of their alleged targets.

After the Tyler Dibling deal falls through, Everton may attempt to sign James McAtee, a target for Nottingham Forest.

Everton has had three bids for Dibling rejected, and they are looking into other options in light of Southampton’s most recent demand of £50 million with a 25% sell-on clause.

With that money, Moyes could potentially acquire James McAtee, a playmaker for Manchester City who is valued at £35 million and who Nottingham Forest is very interested in.

For weeks, Forest has been in negotiations to sign McAtee, but it appears they are attempting to lower his asking price to less than £30 million.

Evangelos Marinakis might be forced to pay more for the England under-21 international now that Everton appears to be back in the picture. If not, they run the danger of missing out.
