As “multiple teams fight” to recruit the England U21 international, Southampton’s much sought-after player Tyler Dibling “is training away from his team-mates.”

Given the uncertainty surrounding his future on the south coast, Southampton teenager Tyler Dibling is reportedly training apart from his teammates. After a strong debut season in the English top division, the 19-year-old has caught the attention of multiple teams this summer. Despite the Saints’ historically dismal campaign, he has shown glimpses of talent.
The England Under 21 player’s current contract with Southampton, who will look to return to the Premier League right away under new manager Will Still, has one year left on it, with an extension option until 2027. The Times reports that Southampton has turned down two offers from Everton for the young midfield player, with the Toffees’ most recent offer reportedly valued at £27 million. The Sun claims that as he is currently training apart from his teammates, his departure may not be far off, but the club is adamant that they would receive a better amount if they approve a sale. According to the site, the young athlete is training with a small group of guys solely doing exercise because his future is uncertain.
The Saints’ home opener against Wrexham on Saturday marks the start of their Championship campaign, and the rumours surrounding their star player have come at a bad time. West Ham United, Fulham, and Aston Villa all rumoured to be interested in Dibling. Dibling is believed to be amenable to joining Everton since he believes the Merseyside team will provide him with an excellent opportunity to grow.
In April, Dibling disclosed that his Southampton teammates would make jokes about his rumoured £100 million price tag. Aaron Ramsdale, who is expected to join Newcastle, took particular delight in doing so. “Rambo adores it,” Dibling remarked. He will simply exclaim, “£90million! £80million!” as it continues to decline when I miss a training shot. It’s all enjoyable. A few nicknames are being used. Everything is a joke. It is not taken seriously by anyone. It’s only a number. It’s all enjoyable.
“I just try to go to train every day, work hard, and train as best I can without trying to think about it.” Ultimately, I’m a huge Southampton fan. Since I was eight years old, I have been here. I’m trying to accomplish great things with this amazing team. Dibling began playing for Southampton at the age of six, progressed through the development system, and made his first team debut in 2021.
