Nottingham Forest Starts Discussions About a Midfielder Deal

The Austrian powerhouses have no intention of letting the Dane go cheaply, but Nottingham Forest has begun preliminary negotiations with Red Bull Salzburg and its midfielder Mads Bidstrup, who is open to making a move.

As things stand, Forest will play in the Europa League the next season, but Crystal Palace is still contesting their eligibility. In order to prepare Forest for Europe, Evangelos Marinakis and his officials are working hard in the market, and improving the team’s engine room is a primary goal.

Douglas Luiz is one of the midfielders Nottingham Forest is considering after Brazilian midfielder Danilo left for Botafogo this summer.

Juventus, on the other hand, has added a former Premier League midfielder to their list, making that transaction difficult.

German reporter Florian Plettenberg claims that Forest has begun discussions about a potential transfer with Red Bull Salzburg and the player.

The 24-year-old Dane is ready to make a comeback to the Premier League, but Red Bull Salzburg consider him a quintessential part of the team.

The Austrian team has stated that they will not allow the Dane to depart for anything less than his worth, even though they are not against Bidstrup leaving.

The season has already begun for the former Bees midfielder, who has played all ninety minutes in each of the three league games while captaining Die Bullen.

The amount Red Bull Salzburg is asking for Bidstrup is still unknown, but it is unclear if Nottingham Forest will pay them enough to acquire the Dane before the end of this month.

The 24-year-old only made 14 appearances throughout his three-year stint at Brentford.
